About Weiwei

I am a Narrative Coach® and I support coaches and small business owners in their journey.

When I was still working towards my degree, I started a wedding planning business and bootstrapped it from a sole proprietorship to an incorporated company. I had the privilege of learning some tough lessons over the 11 years while running the business, and I hope to share some of the experiences.

The pandemic gave me the opportunity to reinvent myself and I found employment with a startup on hypergrowth. I worked superbly hard and got promoted within a year, opening up more opportunities for myself.

Despite my growth in corporate employment, I felt a pull towards entrepreneurship, I needed to create and build something on my own. I went back into the wedding space and co-founded an online publication, and it is also through the publication platform that I am supporting entrepreneurs and solopreneurs in the events industry.

When the opportunity to move and work abroad came for my husband, we jumped into it and brought our little family along. I have been living in China for more than 2 years now and have moved from Shenzhen to Guangzhou during this time. I try to share these experiences as well – moving abroad, finding a community, learning the culture, fitting in, giving birth, and growing our family here.
